so I tink lets go by chronological order ba, starting from where I left off in the last post.

So firstly semis against 4R last last thurs. Didn't really play well as a class, always on the back-foot, but still survived without them getting a shot on target by full-time, although there were a few close shaves. Then the stupid thing came. At the last 30 secs, maybe the last play of the game before penalties, they got a throw-in near our goal. Brilliantly, no one marked greg so he just popped up at the far post n nodded the ball in from like 50cm out :x I shld have done btr n kept it out but the marking ar... (Y) n so we lost it :(

Then the next day... RI-HCI Challenge Shield.

Playing in standard sized goal on an almost standard size pitch for the first time. PRESSURE.

RI won frisbee but lost basketball so it was up to soccer to decide the winner. PRESSURE.

There was a really big crowd watching. PRESSURE.

And well, I cracked under the pressure. big time.

Played like a total piece of shit like as if I was goal-keeping for the first time in my life. Positioning, distribution, defensive line commanding, catching, shot-stopping ALL CMI. Like totally. Only did a few decent things, made a few decent saves, but other than that really sucked. First goal was cause I wasn't confident enough to catch a ball which I should have caught easily. 2nd was cauz of mis-com between me n my defender. 3rd was cauz it was like 5 on 2 or smth like tat n i shld have been able to deflect the first shot out of play instead of just saving n palming it str8 to the opponents.

This game was a total disaster for me, but it has also made me realize that I really have to learn to play under pressure if I am to join n do well in RJ soccer. I'll also have to train really hard to improve my handling n get used to the big goal if i wanna do well...

And ya you guessed it, we lost... 3-1 :(

K so now 3rd-4th placing against 4E last monday. Was really desperate to win it as I lost 2 games str8 :( well we played really well as a class. Defended very well, was threatening when we attacked, and we played so well until all i did for the whole game was to pick up lose balls n watch balls sail off-target. (ok maybe i prevented a shot, but onli 1 at max :x) Didn't do much but was realli happy with my distribution and also my defensive line commanding :D and we won 1-0. So we got 3rd :D Nice one lar 4A! (as i always shout during the matches haha :D)

ok this is getting really long... just 2 or 3 mre things to go tink :P

K so after that it was HMT prelims last friday. Did reasonably well i guess, paper 2 was quite easy, but i scared my 报章报道 跑题 :( although i think it shldnt be :P

now...TEACHERS DAY :D Celebration at RI this year was quite different, cauz Mr Paul Lim was the teacher-ic :P (which sorts of explains everitin :x) I actually got a bit high for one of the first times for celebrations in RI.

Went back to WDP aft that. It was realli great to see the 6 dil peeps again after so long although quite little ppl went bak :D some are still as short as ever (*ahem dun kill me haha), some as loud as ever (*ahem, once again dun kill me), but some ppl changed alot oso :D (dickson is like as tall as me now omg...)

Met Mrs Ong n Mdm Chiam. Was really quite surprised that some teachers which i nvr realli talk much / have totally no impression of actually recognized me :x

Went to Woodlands lib to mug with hans linjian al joyce n charlene aft that :P went to find some books on hitler n china haha :) but ended up chatting quite a bit oso haha.. hosy came aft tat also, but quite late :P haha mugged/chatted until like 6.30 then zaoed.

Realli can't describe how heart-warming it was to meet up with my p6 classmates again. It really brings back those great memories of WDP, the memories we shared, and the years when we were all still carefree n young :D (and when i was still this round fat nerd haha)

but its teachers day, and so its not all about meeting up with the 6dil peeps although it really made my day haha! HAPPY TEACHERS DAY TO ALL THOSE TEACHERS WHO HAVE MADE ME WHO I AM OVER THE PAST YEARS!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH :D
