Well, since I'm locked out of my room now and can't mug (yes i know i'm dumb) ...just thought i'll update this half-dead / dead blog :P

EOYs are coming up soon, so haven't been doing much other than mugging, and to a far lesser extent emoing and thinking about some stuff :x The english essay eoy back in week 1 was quite ok. The topic which i chose was surprisingly straight-forward. Good thing the decision to focus on 1/2 topics only and to totally heck language/gender did not backfire on me haha :P With some luck maybe 4.0 i guess :D But my mugging pace kinda suck lei... will be able to finish up all the revision wks for maths by dinner today, but other subjects progress not very good :(

Just submitted our YFC final report yesterday afternoon. Well, it has been a long journey through which I think I've grown like never before. The project we implemented was in many ways different from the one we proposed back in april, but it was still an enriching and extremely memorable experience nonetheless. It was not just the successes and the things we did right that made this experience special, but also the failures and the mistakes that we've made throughout the course of the planning and implementation process. They've taught me many lessons, and exposed me to many things which i had no idea of before this. This journey was made even more special by the people we met along the way, our Org Comm, volunteers, performers, VWO, mentors, and obviously not forgetting the 3 other jokers in the core team :P Thanks everyone :D

It has recently dawned upon me that another chapter of my life will be closing soon. RI. It seems like just yesterday when i first stepped into the then foreign RI as a small (ok maybe not small :x), naive 12 year old back in 2007. The whole place was like a totally different dimension, and I had some trouble adapting to it. However, in a blink of the eye, i'm already in year four, staring at the graduation ceremony and dinner in the face, and will be soon moving down the road into the JC campus. RI certainly hasn't been a bed or roses, nor has it been the 100% perfect environment which people outside of RI think it to be. However, despite all these, RI still hold that special place in my heart for making me the person which i am. However, RI is changing, and for me personally i think it's changing in a way that isn't really good. I'll not say why here as i believe i shouldn't, but i believe there is a considerable number of RI dudes out there who know what i mean.

That said, I hope to be proven wrong.

I'll try to update more regularly from now on, but till then, BB
